Generational Impact

It all started when…

Jose Luis saw an opportunity to use baseball to do ministry. Through the game of baseball, he's seen the fruit of generational discipleship. The photo above is a visual example of this. Jose Luis invested in the life of Franklin Duran.

Years later, the two of them, while working for another ministry, were able to share the gospel with Misael Espinal. Misael placed his faith in Christ and began to grow through the discipleship relationship he had with Franklin and Jose Luis. This included studying the Bible, attending church, and also serving together.

When La Tribu started in January 2022, Franklin asked Misael to join Jose Luis in order to reach the next generation of baseball players. Misael didn't have to consider the offer for very long, because he too had become passionate about serving Jesus and discipling others.

Enter Ezekiel. The vision lives on. Today, Misael, along with two other young men discipled by Franklin and Jose Luis, help run the academy on a daily basis. Who will be the bridge to the 5th generation? We don't know yet, but there are many who are being prepared.
